Tickling Rules

 A few days ago, Hannah was tickling her mummy and being tickled back, laughing and giggling the whole time.

A bit later, she wanted to do the same with me. But I told her the proper rules of tickling, namely

1) Only grownups can tickle children

2) Children cannot tickle the grownups

And then I started tickling her. Every time she tried to tickle me back, I told her she is breaking the rules. If she cheats all the time, no one will play with her, I told her. So after a while she didn't want to play with me anymore.

Later in the day, I overheard her playing with grandma. Apparently the rules are

1) Children can tickle grownups

2) Grownups cannot tickle children.

Of course she had a great time with that
